Based on the author's research project titled “Analysis of Gender Sensitivity and Social Equality in Pinaggikanan Legends of the 3rd District of Camarines Sur, Philippines," this book explores the legends of various places in the 3rd District of Camarines Sur, which are named after local plants. The legends have been rewritten to promote gender sensitivity and social equality within the texts. These rewritten legends serve as localized and contextualized instructional materials suitable for use in Filipino classes at both the elementary and secondary levels.
