ABOUT THE PROJECT
KLIMA Galing is a climate change education initiative dedicated to empowering the youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and tackle climate change. Our mission is to inspire young people to become proactive stewards of the environment through comprehensive educational resources and engaging activities.
The program was launched in 2022 and served as one of the community partners of the UNDP for The World We Want 2022 International Youth Day celebration. It was kicked-off with a Climate Change Challenge in Cagsao, Calabanga, Camarines Sur.
This project promotes enviro-dental wellbeing, through dental health and environmental education activities. The advocacy includes digital learning sessions promoting dental health and environmental awareness. It culminates with a tree-planting activity after using the bamboo toothbrushes.
This project promotes climate change awareness through competitions, such as mobile photography, enviro-poster and eco-poetry. The outputs of the participants were published through a book - the Cali-Kasan: Arts for the Mother and the Nature.
The YCC Innovation Bootcamp consists of one-day online learning sessions and two-day in-person camp with panel discussions, community outreach, and innovation pitching contest.
