Synopsis:
When their fun-loving aunt returns from Japan, Maya, Nap, and Bituin receive three mysterious jars—gifts that promise to teach them something far more valuable than toys or treats. At first, the jars seem simple, but as the children begin using them, they find themselves making choices that challenge the way they think about money, kindness, and self-control.

Christine Marie Lim Magpile is a teacher, editor-author, translator, and creative writer. She earned her BS Education in History (cum laude) from the University of Santo Tomas and completed her MA academic requirements in Araling Pilipino at UP Diliman. A fellow of several national writers’ workshops—including Makiling (2025), Iligan (2024), and DLSU (2023)—she currently works as a University Researcher III and copy editor at UP Diliman.
Joji B. Segundo, 17, from Sta. Cruz, Quipayo, Calabanga, Camarines Sur, is a Grade 12 student at Quipayo National High School and the editorial cartoonist of the school publication. He has earned awards in a 2023 poster-making contest and in various levels of the Schools Press Conference in 2024.
